It's all fun and games...

... until someone flips the 4-wheeler!

Some egos were bruised during the making of this adventure.

Can't have hurt as bad as the tattoo did! LOL

Nope that's a fact.

However that'll teach me until next time, don't go at 30+mph down that trail, catch some air, land the right wheels in the uncompacted snow.

The dog was almost as surprised...

"I didn't know he could fly"

Nice tat, knarly bruise, and good story.

Did the 4-wheeler get banged up as much as you did ?

Nope it seems A-Ok... Other than blowing a bit of oily exhaust for a few minutes after righting it and restarting.

Apparently I absorbed most of the momentum with my boot under the seat, and of course the faceplant.

The back bruise was caused by that small tree you see between me and the 4-wheeler in the top phote that's leaning over at about a 45 degree angle, well it was vertical and the 4-wheeler never touched it.

As a friend of mine always says before I drive away, "keep it rubber side down and in between the ditches!"

Glad your ok.
Take care!

Dude! I think you need to apply a bumper sticker on the Pan that says "If you can read this call 911"

Glad that your tats were not damaged. ;~)

Now that the dog knows you can fly, you'll get more respect, ya know? ;)

Glad you're okay. Poor tree.

Correct me if I am wrong but, don't those things work better ri8ght side up? LOL

No John you don't get it. Gungnir was demonstrating how to extend the life of the tires by operating it in a manner that minimizes the friction on the rubber. All he has to do now is figure out how to minimize the friction on his skin.

Nice tat. At least the snow was on the ground and not rocks. I enjoy your blog. Living in a tent in Alaska... you guys rock. May the Spring weather be warm and dry this year.
