Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the Holidays!
Yes, we're still alive and well up here in the frigid Far North. It's a balmy -44F today, which I think is a record for our location and is certainly the coldest Christmas since we've been here. The weather this winter has been crazy -- warm and windy then cold and bracing then back again for some more of the up and down. It's kept us on our toes, for sure.I know we haven't posted in a long while, and truthfully it's because there hasn't really been much to post about. We were kind of de-motivated this year, having spent most of our time and money on repairs/replacements than on anything new or interesting. Not being able to make much progress sort of took some wind out of sails, and seriously triggered my Aspie frustration (i.e. OCD backlash) which left me stressed out and less than communicative.
Meanwhile, we're hoping to have both trucks fixed and all equipment in working order in time for spring chores. Hopefully, we'll also have enough money saved up to get a few new projects started and a bunch of old ones finished this coming year. If the weather cooperates as well, maybe we'll start making progress again and have more to post.

Merry Christmas, I know how you feel. The cold seems to be hanging on here although my temps are -26 to -30. Using a lot of wood.
Glad to hear your still at it. Have a great Christmas! Go into hibernation for a few months and enjoy it. Spring is coming and with it the work. Please don't forget to at least post some winter pics for us.
Glad to here you are both still tugging a long. I can understand your frustrations, trust me we don't mind if you vent to us. Maybe we can help you see the bright side and get through it easier. We all know Alaska throws plans out the windows. Let us help you. We love hearing anything, the trials are just as important as the many accomplishments.
